My husbands family owns a dairy farm and we went to the farm last weekend to take care of some mowing and haying. My husband Craig goes to get diesel for the tractor and while he is pumping the diesel fuel the hose explodes on craig.... he wasn't hurt but he was covered in diesel fuel from head to toe..... all over his face arms clothes..... etc..... we got the gas put it in the truck and quickly headed back to farm so he could clean up, change his clothes and we could wash the clothes he was wearing.

At the time he was wearing brand new jeans and a new Tshirt his mother bought him the day before. We washed his jeans four times with just liquid ALL as we were not home and didn't have any idea how to remove the smell of diesel. After washing the clothes repeatedly (not drying for fear of setting the stain/smell) we ended up throwing away the t-shirt (I now wish we hadn't) and that was it..... we were sure the pants, underwear, socks, and handkerchief were a goner..... apparently diesel fuel is one of those things that just stinks forever.... and won't come out so after asking around about how to get the smell out and doing an internet search we were ready to throw out all the clothes (he had worn the jeans once) when we got home from farm after a week away we went to the grocery and just for the heck of it I checked the laundry aisle for odor remover and found the Febreze Laundry Odor Eliminator. I bought it, never expecting it to work.

I poured two capfuls on the clothes and put one in the water with the detergent (one more capful than instructed) .... I set it on small load so that it would be very concentrated and used hot water..... took the clothes out of the washer and much to my surprise there was no smell.... not even a hint of the diesel smell on any of the clothes that I washed..... I was amazed..... I let the clothes air dry fully expecting the smell to come back as they dried but it has not.

My husband and I also show and raise Champion Retrievers. As a person who shows and raises dogs we often have odors that we need to get out of things. Most of my friends and aquaintances are also dog show folks and they also run into the same odor issues that we do. I have already posted on several of the showdog lists and bulletin boards that I belong to what a wonderful product this is. If it can get out the smell of diesel I am sure it will be great for us doggy folks.

I will never be without this product in my home and I will be telling everyone what a great product this is.

Great job....
thanks a bunch
